Body brushing increases circulation and blood flow and stimulates drainage from the lymphatic system to smooth skin's surface, sweep away flakes and dry patches, and even out lumps and bumps, including cellulite.
Any type of exfoliation can usually help to prevent ingrown hairs as well, by clearing dead skin cells that can trap.
Your moisturiser will work better because you will have brushed away the outermost dead skin cells.
Using a brush, massage your body gently, brush upward toward the hear in upward strokes and circular motions starting from your toes going all the way up—your legs, your arms, belly and back.
When you start on your arms, begin at the hands and work upward. Use firm, small strokes upward or work in a circular motion.
For the stomach, brush in a clockwise direction.
Using a body brush is not for everyone, some people should avoid dry brushing or proceed with caution. People with eczema and psoriasis, should avoid brushing over the inflamed area
