General Advice for Cleaning Shavers

You should clean your shaver after each shave to maintain and achieve the full effect of the shaver.
You can clean the outside of the shaver with a damp cloth.
Read the manual for your shaver to get the cleaning and maintenance that suits your shaver exactly.
Turn off your shaver and remove the shaving head from the shaver.
A small brush often comes with your shaver. Use it to loosen and remove any beard residue that has accumulated.
If you don't have the small brush, you can use another small soft brush or paintbrush for the purpose.
Also brush away any stubble from the shaving chamber.
If your shaver is waterproof, you can rinse the shaver and the shaving head under warm (never over 80 degrees) running water.
You can use a little washing up liquid to clean the shaver under the tap, but there are specific cleaning liquids that are used to clean shavers.
Dry the shaver parts with a towel. Please note that the shaving blades should not be dried with a towel or kitchen roll, as this can damage the blades.
Instead, you can shake off the excess water and let it air dry.
Make sure your razor blades are kept clean of dirt. This will extend the life of your razor, maintain the razor's efficiency and maintain good hygiene.
Razor oil helps extend the life of your blade. To lubricate the blade, remove the foil and then apply a few drops of oil to the blade.
Replace the foil. You can buy oil for your razor here.
Replace the blades on your razor approximately every 18 months. If the blades become damaged, they should be replaced immediately.
